About David Perry<\/b><\/h2>\n

Director of Auckland Lifts
\n<\/b><\/h2>\n

David attended school in Whangarei and afterwards, went on to take an apprenticeship as a Radio and Electronic Technician. Following this, he commenced an electrical apprenticeship and gained his NZ Electrical registration. He then embarked on a career in the elevator industry. This work took him all over the world.<\/p>\n

1985 \u2013 Serviceman, The Electric Construction Company, Auckland<\/p>\n

1989 \u2013 Installation Technician, Boral Elevators, Sydney<\/p>\n

1990 \u2013 Construction Manager, Boral Elevators, Auckland. David was the modernization \u201cguru\u201d for Boral Elevators and supervised many upgrades for this company, traveling to Boral headquarters in Melbourne frequently to share his knowledge and experience with the entire team<\/p>\n

1993 \u2013 Elevator Supervisor and Advisor, Kumgai Gumi Construction, Port Moresby Papua New Guinea<\/p>\n

1994 – Elevator Supervisor and Advisor, Kumgai Gumi Construction, Suva, Fiji<\/p>\n

1998 – Service Manager covering the state of Florida, USA for a crane installation and servicing company affiliated with South Eastern Galvanizing. He worked on several sites in locations such as Miami, Birmingham, Tampa, Virginia and South Carolina<\/p>\n

2000 – KONE Elevators Team Leader for the Metro portion of KONE’s portfolio, attaining awards for: Best maintenance; Best call rate; Lowest \u201csick lift\u201d rate for all of Australasia<\/p>\n

2006 \u2013 Auckland elevator and escalator installation, maintenance and repair company. David was promoted to Service Manager in 2008<\/p>\n

2011 – David founded Auckland Lifts<\/p>\n

David has held IQP (Independently Qualified Person) status for elevators (Reg No. 110601) since 1997<\/p>\n

Jeannette assists David to ensure that daily activities at Auckland Lifts contribute to the effective production of efficient and reliable\u00a0services.\u00a0David developed his vision with Jeannette’s help and together they manage the overall performance of the company\u2019s operation. Jeannette works with clients on a daily basis and you may also find her\u00a0on site assisting David and other technicians with Health and Safety requirements.<\/p>\n
